Watercolor-Choice of Subject

This is my watercolor painting of a barn behind trees. To create the TEXTURE of the trees I tried to dab the brush repeatedly in an attempt to show different leaves. I also tried to implement a warm COLOR scheme by using red, orange, yellow, and green throughout the piece. To give the barn and the small barn a sense of FORM I used gray to give them shadows along their roofs. The layout of the painting was BALANCED and had EMPHASIS on the barn through the use of the trees on ethier side of the painting. If I could change anything about this painting I would redo the yellow tree on the left. I accidently made the tree too big while trying to add texture.
